The Mommy Blog Written by a Real Mom
No this isn’t revenge of the lipstick coming at you with a knife while you are asleep but it is more like, the cat burglar. Silent but just as effective. With recent scares about the lead in lipstick and all the harsh chemicals in sunscreen, it’s had me thinking, just what am I putting on [...]
While I’ve been recently very busy on the Internet, well mostly on Twittermoms.com, I’ve come across some really neat blogs! There are so many interesting women out there, and if I needed another reason to be obsessed with the Internet, I’ve found one. While browsing Twittermoms.com I came across Cheryl Hill’s recent blog posting about [...]
“Anything you can do, I can do better. I can do anything Better than you.” Is what Megan Calhoun was singing the night she launched Twittermoms.com—OK probably not, but that’s what she should have been singing. When I was first introduced to twitter, my husband had just come back from a Microsoft Influencer conference and [...]
Well my 15 minutes of fame is up I suspect. Yes, I think this little article will be my shot at “fame.” One of the first blog postings I put up on this wonderful blog of mine was dedicated to an awesome site called TotSpot. Seeing as how I was one of the 1000′s of [...]

Yes, it’s true that I’m a sucker for infomercials. I’ve bought my share of things from infomercials over the years and admittedly most have gathered dust around my house. But I’m here to tell the truth on two items that have worked and a third that probably works but I couldn’t stand to do it [...]
This whole phenomenon I had hoped would pass me has sucked me in. I’ve caved. My husband www.realsoftwaredevelopment.com has been tweeting away for some time, and until this week I have successfully resisted. Thinking, who cares what I tweet, what on earth is a tweet, and why on earth would I "status" update people who [...]
Erin Carrasco (Real Tech Mom) is a mom of a beautiful baby boy born in March. She also looks after her other two kids (Mia and Keely, her two cats) and her wonderful husband of four years. It has taken some time getting used to not being at home every day, but being a mom is a different type of job and I admire the moms who get to be with their kids every day!
Moms like me know that just because everyone says you should do it, or not do it does not make it set in stone. For us dinner is never the same time every night and because of my husband’s job, our lives are ruled by overtime, extra overtime, travel and the crack blackberry. I am not only a mom, I’m a woman and human being. Believe it or not I do enjoy a lot more than just being a mom! Some of my passions are a little geeky but still they’re me none the less.
